Sygnature expands flow chemistry capabilities.
Sygnature has recently added the FlowSyn TM continuous flow reactor from
UNIQSIS to its technology capability and is the first CRO in the UK to
invest in the UNIQSIS system.
"This investment expands Sygnature's capability in flow chemistry, reaction optimisation and scale up studies" says Dr David Adams, Group Leader in Medicinal Chemistry. "The reactor is fully integrated for synthesis, reaction optimisation and scale up from milligrams to hundreds of grams. It also offers more precise control over reaction conditions, reproducibility, scalability, safety, and ease of optimisation compared to traditional batch methods."
"This acquisition underlines Sygnature's continuing commitment to enabling technologies and greater efficiency in synthesis", adds Dr Simon Hirst, Sygnature's CEO. "We believe that flow chemistry will deliver substantial value to our collaborations by helping to reduce cycle times in the discovery process."
