Due to an unprecedented demand for it's contract medicinal chemistry services, Sygnature has already outgrown the purpose-designed and built laboratory and office space occupied during the £1m expansion announced in April 2008, and expanded into additional space within BioCity's state-of-the-art Laurus building.

Dr Simon Hirst, Chief Executive Officer of Sygnature Chemical Services commented, "I am delighted to announce that Sygnature's sales have doubled over the past year and our international client base has grown considerably. We have recruited experienced chemists to fully occupy the £1m expansion of our research facility in 2008, and these additional research chemists mean that Sygnature's ability to offer advanced medicinal chemistry to clients has been enhanced. The propects for futher growth during 2009 are excellent and we are aiming to expand our facility yet again to meet this demand."
